sustainability is at the core of everything we do
Our mission - what we do and why.
Greencore Construction builds exceptional, low-carbon building envelopes for discerning clients.
Greencore Construction has been set up by Ian Pritchett and Martin Pike to deliver exemplary low carbon buildings using natural materials (predominantly hemp, lime and timber). The company combines a strong scientific approach with pragmatic and practical delivery using an experienced team.
Greencore Construction can design, manufacture and erect your building super-structure using our innovative HempCell System - this is a factory-made panelised system that uses
Hemp-Lime and natural fibre insulation to deliver exceptional thermal performance and comfort as well as locking up carbon.
Our aim is to deliver thermal performance in line with the Passiv Haus standard (exceeding the proposed 2016 ”Zero Carbon” standard) AND combine this with natural materials to give low embodied carbon (carbon footprint) as well as low operational emissions. In this way we can deliver the best of both worlds.
Our team has been involved in the construction of over 150 units for small developers and housing associations, such as the Triangle Project in Swindon (a Lime Technology Limited/ Hemcrete Projects Limited project).
Our team has been involved in the construction of over 50 self-build hemp houses, such as the Hawthorns project.
Our team has been involved in the construction of over 50 non-domestic buildings, such as M&S Cheshire Oaks (a Lime Technology Limited/ Hemcrete Projects Limited project).
